Senator Neal Hunt named in bottom nine most effective members in the Senate

Raleigh – In the second consecutive publication of the NC Center for Public Policy Research's legislative rankings Sen. Neal Hunt has been listed as one of the 10 least effective among all 50 state senators. Hunt has been the senator in the 15 th district for two terms.

Chris Mintz, candidate for NC's 15 th Senatorial seat in northern Wake County commented on the rankings today.

“Wake County has come to a critical juncture. The growth we've seen over the past few years has strained our transportation infrastructure and our schools.” Mintz continued, “These aren't simple issues with easy answers. Just showing up for work won't get the job done for Northern Wake County. We need active and engaged leadership if we're going to get our share of the limited resources in the budget.”

Mintz, a financial planner, husband, and father of three is seeking election to the state senate in November. He is running to improve transportation and educational systems in Wake County and NC. More information can be found at www.chrismintz.com.
